My heart just wasn't in it this year. Frankly, if it hadn't been for Evil Scientist's foot firmly placed on my behind I doubt very much if I would have gone at all.

As a friend put it, Maroon 5 is pure pop. The base beat in this song completely reminds me of the Police and there's a real 1960s kitchiness to the tune.

So, except for a few days around the May Long when it was nice enough to roast weenies and ride my bike to work, this has been a God-awful spring for weather. I'm sure I'm not alone in being sick of the rain.

Why the girlie scream?

Yes, I know, life is unfair. Nobody needs to point it out again, but in the words of Bill Waterson as spoken by the 6-year-old Calvin, just once I'd like it to be unfair in my favour.

Not that it matters because I never did get out to Sunshine for May skiing but it's sad all the same that I'm not getting ski reports on my Blackberry every day. I do realize, of course, that summer will be all too short and I won't have to wait long to be bombing down the slopes. I'm already putting in some OT to pay for my RCR Superpass.
