Evil Scientist had this on his blog and I thought that I would share the merriment.
For the record, I WISH I was this hot.
Dr. Robert Chase 85% Eccentricity, 40% Confidence, 20% Kindness |
Congratulations, you're Dr. Robert Chase! You're quite the complicated person. While you may seem like a perfectly normal extremely attractive person, there is far more to you than meets the eye. It's quite likely that you've had some unusual experiences in your life, whether it be something along the lines of a stint in seminary school or something along the lines of S&M parties. You are rather insecure, and will often do things you don't want to do to win the good favors of others. While you may seem nice enough, getting ahead and doing what's best for yourself is usually more important to you than much else in life. |

Jim Cuddy in Concert - definitely not Bad Timing

If you've come to this blog for an impartial and musically technical review of the Jim Cuddy concert in Calgary on the 6th, don't bother. Myself and the friend I went to the concert with are dedicated fans and it would be hard to find an instance where we wouldn't be praising anything done by Keelor/Cuddy/Blue Rodeo.

The time has come for me to start thinking about my latest order for a new costume to add to my Titanic collection of dresses. As usual, I am completely torn (generally I'm torn about important decisions too but I concentrate on unimportant stuff and hope that the important things go away) and unable to decide which I would like so I've decided to put the question to the masses.

This week the Lido is all decked out in Halloween splendor. There's a funky tree with glowing LEDs. Jessica regaled me with tales of her recent vacation. She toured the province in day trips and saw all the weirdness that Southern Alberta has to offer. There is a fondness for Turner Diamond Black Valley (none of us can ever get which is which so we just blended the two names together). It has great restaurants and a surprisingly good coffee culture.

For the first time in weeks I was the first to arrive almost on time and secure a table. This gave me plenty of time to appreciate what a gray, miserable day it was outside. I couldn't help but notice that there were no answers to my life at the bottom of my black, inky coffee.

So, the question of the week is:
“How can Wal-Mart can make a fake, dismembered, crawling hand for 9 bucks but sex toys all cost around $100?” I mean really, it certainly seems like the same technology. This was to be a recurring theme although I still don't understand why Jim Cuddy's new video would remind anyone that they need new batteries.

The Tragically Hip are great live. I'd never seen them before last night (a fact that nearly got me kicked out of my own vehicle this summer) and if the concert wasn't sold out I'd buy tickets and go again tonight.

I went to ground school a few nights ago only to find out that the class had been cancelled (damn the staff shortage for everything in Calgary right now). As I was waiting I was looking at the “First Solo” board and as I glanced at my own picture I realized that I never actually blogged about the event.

For those of you who don't know, I have a rather bizarre hobby. I like costumes. Actually, I've found out that it isn't that bizarre because (thanks to the internet) a lot of people seem to share the passion.
