Duxford Girl

The time has come for me to start thinking about my latest order for a new costume to add to my Titanic collection of dresses. As usual, I am completely torn (generally I'm torn about important decisions too but I concentrate on unimportant stuff and hope that the important things go away) and unable to decide which I would like so I've decided to put the question to the masses. A little background on each dress for those of you who are not obsessive Titanic fans.

The Red "Jump Dress"
Worn by Winslet in the movie as her character contemplates throwing herself from the ...uh... you know the back of the ship...STERN, yeah the stern of the ship (what the hell am I thinking, putting my paperwork in to be in the Navy). This is generally considered to be the masterpiece of costume designer Debra Scott from the movie. It was not my favourite when I originally saw the movie but lately is becoming more so.




The Black and Coral "Dinner Dress"
Worn by Winslet the night Jack attends dinner in the first class dining salon. This was definatley my favourite of the formal dresses when I first saw the movie. I also like the shoes that go with this one better.
