More of my total lack of media savvy.

Yeah, I'm all for a high-speed railway. It does lack the romance of running the Bud car out of Sudbury though...

I've said before that the thing I hate most about myself is that I'm so emotionally exposed. I wish I could just bottle up everything inside, I really do but my attempts to change have been futile at best.

I wonder if how well we keep promises to ourselves is indicative of how well we keep promises to everyone else.
On that note, conversation has once again drifted into the territory of New Year’s Resolutions. Last year, I put it to a vote. In case anyone is interested, the cats are still lazy, little free-loaders who can’t vacuum.

We are, once again, at the end of the holiday season. I find the two months ahead to be the worst of the year for me personally. The term “unbearably depressing” comes to mind. The last three years I have dealt with this depression by taking time off and leaving the country. Twice, I ventured to London and last year I visited Mexico (call me a freak, but I’ll take Blighty over Mexico, any day).

Well, it’s back again. To the credit of the malls around the downtown core, they waited until after Remembrance Day to really start dressing the place up.

I've been meaning to post this one for awhile. I can't believe that it's almost time to start thinking about Christmas. Oh well, "...maybe this year, will be better than the last."

The Camera Phone Phenom

I think that I've said this before but I thought that camera phones were a pretty stupid thing when they first began to emerge. However, since getting a phone with a camera in it (every phone has them now), I'm not sure how I ever lived without one.
There is a definite benefit to being able to take pictures at a moment's notice. I've picked up some great shots. I also have some not-so-great shots but I like the fact that even on the worst days at work I can flip open the 'ole Razor and have a few moments of happy.
With that in mind, the next few stories will be studies of various cell phone pictures. Again, the quality isn't so hot on a lot of these shots but these pictures are all about capturing the moment.
