I made a tragic mistake in thinking that if I rented a sports car for a day that I would get the need to buy one out of my system.

Look, I know that in a recent interview with the latest shuttle crew the reporter didn’t ask Barbara Morgan about her hair because he consciously wanted to bring her down as a woman. The simpler, and far scarier, fact is that asking a woman about her hair is such a natural thing to do. Women are meant to care about their appearance and therefore, the question is acceptable.

You know what I think a great little trip is? When you're out for a walk or driving or doing anything with your iPod on and it rotates to an xmas song in the middle of July. I mean, seriously, who needs drugs and alcohol when you're listening to Santa Baby in the middle of the hottest summer since 1960.

I used to play trumpet...I think. It was a long time ago and wait...yes, it's all coming back to me now, yeah I played trumpet and as I recall it was a pretty major part of life.

If I could go back in time to when I started flying, I would change a few things. First, I would have gotten my Category 1 Medical Certificate right off the bat rather than assuming that I was never going to be eligible and settling for my Cat 3. Second, I would have made a much firmer commitment to fly as often as possible.

Now, more than ever, I want to fly as much as possible. I have goals in mind and the money to see them happen. Of course this means that everything else seems to be conspiring against me.

Co-workers will chase cows if you ask them nicely.

Jim Cuddy mentions trains in a lot of his songs;

I sure hope he's not a rail fan, 'cause that would cut the sexiness factor by about half.
