Stuff vs. Space

After having lived in the same home for some 24 years and the home having a ton of "storage space" (one of the reasonse we bought the house in the first place) the time has arrived for Duxfordgirl's parents to downsize.
All that wonderful storage space is now of course full to bursting as is every other available space because ... well you know... you just might need that something or other one day.
I just got rid of about 10 years worth of National Geographic that have been sitting around forerer. Those plus a ton of other useless old textbooks from my days at NAIT & SAIT. Yup.. they are gone finally.
Lots of other stuff is yet to go but at least the process has started. I can hardly wait till I get to the dreaded "crawl space"...
