The Ugly Bride

People become who they become through experience, and yes, some of that is through the experience of living with the people we are most connected with, our parents. But are these traits really "passed on"?
Besides, would you really want me to be Sister Mary Sunshine all the time? I believe that it's best to plan for the worst and hope for the best (realizing that I need to work on the hope bit). I'm quite sure that if I showed up one day revelling in the wonderfulness of everything around me, you wouldn't waste time in having me locked up in a mental institution for awhile (nor should you).
