It's the old story of performing artists who flock to New York to make their dreams come true on Broadway and end up impoverished drug addicts. Still, there's some romance to this end. The less spectacular end of performance dreams is realising that you have no money for grad school near the end of your bachelor degree so you slam out a minor in management and join the evil corporate forces.
