Pump up the Volume I know, it's been a while.

“Nothing compares
No worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes
They are memories made.
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?

I wish nothing but the best for you
Don't forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead"

Adele 21 - Someone Like You
Adele
www.adele.tv/home My running partner listens to Top 40 stations so as we headed out to Kelowna for our half-marathon, I let her choose radio stations. It was an effort to get more in touch with modern music and not slide into that category of person who hasn't bought a new album in twenty years. Of my discoveries in new music this weekend, Adele was my favourite. What an amazing talent! She's got brilliant insight for someone so young. It's a bit embarassing to admit that a twenty-something was able to put on paper some of the things that have been rattling around in my head for quite awhile now.

I don't think anyone's really bought a new _album_ in a long time...
