Today I was busy in the evening which isn't a much better excuse but I did manage to get out for a long walk even if I didn't train:

I'm glad that Spring finally seems to be here. Everything in my yard is suddenly green and budding. I'm starting to feel better but I hate the fact that I let my frustration get in the way sometimes. I've been dieting steadily since 2004 and I'm sort of sick of it. I have to because if I don't I will be grossly obese but some days I just can't face another food measurement or exercise program. Does everybody else have to work this hard at it? I know that most people do but there are days when I feel alone in my efforts.
I made some less-than-spectacular fish today and a simple, tasty beet salad. Beets are an under-used vegetable. They're great with feta and basalmic vinegar. Not just for borscht anymore!
