After passed “The Centre of Canada” we were well on our way to our trek across Northern Ontario. The weather was still hot but got much less muggy as we headed away from Winnipeg. Kenora was a very pretty city. I had no idea that it was such a resort town. All along this stretch of highway is the most unusual combination of fly-in hunting and fishing establishments, cafes and bed & breakfasts. It reminds me a lot of interior BC.

We spent a pleasant evening in the shade at the Ignase campground.
