"Ei! wie schmeckt der Coffee süße,
Lieblicher als tausend Küsse,
Milder als Muskatenwein.
Coffee, Coffee muß ich haben,
Und wenn jemand mich will laben,
Ach, so schenkt mir Coffee ein!"

J. S. Bach - Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht (aka The Coffee Cantata) BWV 211 A lovely little secular piece by Bach in which our heroine is terribly addicted to coffee. Her father pleads with her to stop and finally tells her that he will find her a husband in exchange for her compliance to the "no coffee" rule. Alas, our heroine secretly tells her suitors that she will only marry them if she is allowed to drink coffee. In the end, the main characters decide that coffee is indeed a natural and allowable vice.

The translation of the text is roughly, "coffee is better than kisses, give me a refill."
