Check out the change.org link on the right of my page. An Edmonton radio station is giving away a Russian "mail-order" bride as a prize. We, as a developed and wealthy nation, are supposed to be working toward a better world, not a worse one. Many women who become "mail-order" brides have very few options in life and to exploit that is (in my mind) about the same as getting a 12-year-old addicted to crack to she can be pimped out.
Of course, the unfortunate thing about this contest is that the radio station is now getting loads of free advertising. The way to really make an impact is to let their advertisers know that you want no part of their products if they are willing to advertise on a station that would run such a disgusting contest.
