www.thehip.com Yup. The self-loathing after letting yourself be used is worse than the memory of the event itself. I find it extremely hard to not want to give my son advice like “never trust anyone with your heart”, as he grows older.
Hopefully by the time he's a teenager all the therapy and medication will have worked for me...
