Well, I've had such a nice vacation that I've completely blown off blogging the last couple of days. However, several hours in the car took care of that. Day two in Victoria, we ventured out to the Butchart Gardens. Although the early-spring is not as spectacular as the full-blooming summer season, I've always had a fondness of the gardens at this time of year.

The grounds are still greener than anything at home and there are a few blooms making their appearance. More than that though, it's not busy and so it tends to be a much more reflective place. I enjoy its quiet and solitude.
